• Kenver
Ltd.—voted “Best of New England” by its peers. US News
& World Report says “…there is no [wintersports]
store in the country where it is more pleasant to browse and
buy. Housed in a two-hundred- fifty-year-old building,
Kenver…is a serene, rambling space. One isn’t sure
whether to make a purchase or spend a romantic evening.”
Established in 1959 by renowned
sportsman and skier Ken Vermeulen, Kenver Ltd., still family
owned, is a shopping mecca for urban dwellers and rural
residents who demand the best in merchandise and service.
“Our real goal here is to serve our customers so well and
make them feel so comfortable they’d never think of
shopping anywhere else,” says Kenver President, Lucinda
Fenn-Vermeulen.

Originally built in 1731 as a stopover on the stagecoach
route between Hartford, Albany, New York City and
Pittsfield, the building was then known as the Egremont
Tavern and served weary travelers with care.
The building lends itself
well as a shop and still gives the best of care to its
patrons. You’ll feel the mood of this exceptional store
when you walk across the threshold and immediately
appreciate its beauty and meet the helpful, well-trained
staff. Customer service is a major priority and you’ll
enjoy the care they give your needs.

We invite you to come see for yourself why no one visits
Kenver just once. Wander through antique filled rooms, sit
by a fire, complimentary cider, coffee or apple in hand.
We’ll look forward to seeing you again and again.
